Uncoated Paper Cardboard Jewellery Gift Boxes

In early March of 2017, I got an inquiry for lid & bottom gift boxes in XS, S, M, L total 4 sizes for EDBLAD brand. After viewing the inquiry contents, I searched the EDBLAD brand online and got to know it is a Swedish brand for home accessories & jewelry products with delicate design. The exact inquiry quantity are quite large, detailed list as below:

XS- 60,000pcs/month
S- 180,000pcs/month
M- 42,000pcs/month
L- 18,000pcs/month

My first thought was that such big brand must have its cooperated suppliers previously and do doubt they have big demand based on their products selling. After we confirmed the detailed specs of that series jewellery gift boxes, we offered quotation based on monthly volume and got design files later. The real sample boxes were made of uncoated paper + 1.5mm greyboard with custom printing as pics shows:

The boxes material is uncoated paper instead of coated paper as we normally used for gift box making. Any personal writing on the box can be done easily. To add ribbon for decoration is also a good option. Even we used 900gsm grey board to make 1.5mm thick gift box, the hardness is much better than 1000gsm grey board which is B grade normally used. So client was very satisfied with the box quality.
